Quick progress report

We thought we'd share these "before" photos before fiberglassing begins.

We removed the whole fly bridge console, designed a new one and Bob has begun building it.

Pat has cut aluminum perforated panels to cover the insulation in the engine room. That sounds like a much simpler job than it was! After they're installed the whole engine room will be painted.

Painting continues in the interior berths, stateroom, heads and storage compartments. Sara gets to paint the insides of cabinets and lockers, where small size is helpful and painting skill is not crucial.

Stay tuned for more information about paint in the next blog. We are planning to use some new products from Interlux® and Awlgrip®.
