TRAVELIFT OPERATOR AND YARD LEAD

Full time position, responsibilities include:

• Haul vessels up to 30 tons and 55'

• Operate forklift and man lift

• Overall yard maintenance and upkeep

• Equipment maintenance

• Environmental and equipment maintenance record keeping

• Boat and hull washdown

• Safety checking vessels in storage and prior to launch

Experienced required: 

• 3+ years crane or heavy equipment experience

Traits required:

• Must be self-motivated, fast learner and able to work with minimal supervision

• Good mechanical aptitude

• A can-do, safety first attitude

• Good communication skills

• Capable of problem solving and decision making

• Capable of lifting minimum 50 pounds

• Capable of working on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions

• Clean driving record

Additional requirements:
• US Citizenship
• High School Diploma / GED
• Related experience
• Current U.S. Driver's License
• Must pass drug screening

• Residence in Port Townsend area
 

Regular 5-day work with holidays and vacation time.
